Sotheby's Asia

S otheby’s is thrilled to welcome the new year with a cultural festival running from 14 January 2025 at Sotheby's Maison.

This week-long celebration is led by Butoh in Six Acts with a three-day festival of performances by seven world renowned Butoh dancers hailing from Japan and Europe.

Complementing this artistic experience is a public exhibition of the Joachim-Ma Stradivarius, a violin masterpiece crafted in 1714 by Antonio Stradivari during his legendary "Golden Period". This marks its first showcase in Asia ahead of its auction at Sotheby’s New York in February, offering a unique dialogue that transcends history and aesthetics between two paragons of culture.

Stay tuned for further announcements of events in Hong Kong and across Asia.
